Saw You Dance

I had been listening to some Chic songs and one of my favorites of the era, “Spacer” by Sheila & B. Devotion. The link was obviously the superb rhythm guitar work of Nile Rogers. I asked Robin to come up with a similarly catchy rhythm guitar part. And he did. I love it. What to write about? Dancing of course. I’m a big fan of Strictly and add in memories of my youth, I was very aware that watching someone dance well to a great track is mesmerising. This is a story built around that. The dance steps I refer to in Chorus 2 are real—I looked them up.
