We Found A Way

Quite an emotional song about a marriage going wrong, affairs by both parties then a reconciliation. I particularly like the intro and outro and the instrumental break in the middle which has some singing over the beginning part. How long hours, stress and absences damage a marriage, how interested third parties seem to magically appear at just the right/wrong moment, how easy it is to be beguiled by this new attention and flattery, only to find out they’re 1. not what they seem and therefore not the answer, or 2. are very nice and end up getting hurt as well. The lies, the deception, the pain and despair but eventually the getting back together, against all odds, to borrow a phrase.

Proud of the line “Guns of destruction now armed and fully loaded”, meaning everything bad had aligned for the very worst to happen.
