A bit of an oddity this song. We wrote it, lyrics & music, in 2019, & for reasons explained below, we parked it, as like so many of our songs, we needed vocals.
Amelia is our go to vocalist, but as this was a love song about my wife Corinna, I figured best sung by a male vocalist. Most male online vocalists need a vocal guide track & neither of us not even competent enough singers to provide that.
Anyway, Amelia more than happy to sing it, & here it is.
I’m very pleased with it, one of my favourites. The lyrics are heartfelt, but a bit odd, in that the verses are highly personal, but the choruses aren’t, more a generic observation, in that many females grumble that their male partners hardly ever say “ I love you”. “ luv ya babes” doesn’t count. I particularly like the harmonies. Brilliant singing from Amelia.
